This is a must-watch! Robert De Niro is a scream in da show and the transformation of Charlie Cox from a dumpy village boy to a suave sword-handling dude is simply droolworthy! Now I wanna read the original Neil Gaiman book. Heard that the real tale is much darker ho ho ho!



A young man named Tristan (Charlie Cox) tries to win the heart of Victoria (Sienna Miller), the beautiful but cold object of his desire, by going on a quest to retrieve a fallen star. His journey takes him to a mysterious and forbidden land beyond the walls of his village. Had a chill-out session at Timbre I yesterday with the usual gang. Last night was Timmy band's last perf there. They'll be "re-located" to Timbre II, so I guess that'll be our next target :P Anyway...purpose of this entry is not about Timbre or Timmy....it's about a stoopid cat.....

We ended the session at close to 1am and Byeo dropped me off....when I got out of the lift and was about to turn to my house, there it is - a damn fat cat sitting right outside my house! Ehh...my natural reaction is to scream for my mum (not that I expect her to be awake at this time). As I was screaming "Ma Maaaaaaa!!!", the stoopid cat suddenly got up and my Maaaa became a "AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!". Think the cat got scared and ran off towards the staircase...and erm...I scared my bro too (who was fiddling with the PC at that time)...he tot I was assaulted or something....sorry bro :P

after the ordeal, i sent an sms to aud and cl...

Me: Juz now came home, got a big fat cat sitting rite outside my house. I screamed and scared my bro lol

Aud: Haha! if me oso scared la!

Me: Ya lor! Stoopid cat. Tmr muz tell my mum so that she can go buy 4d

backdated post....last wkend, a group of us headed to Colmar Tropicale@Bukit Tinggi. a group of us = aud, aud's sis, CL, shanice, sslim, celim, say gay, elvin, elvin's sis, kelvin and me of coz'. so how did we end up going as a group? gotta 'thank' sslim & CL for that...sslim wanted to go and he asked CL who, in turn, asked the entire QA...so there you go, a 'whole-village' trip!

6 oct 2007. i got up at 6.15am to wash up. met CL at bugis MCD for b'fast before heading to golden mile for the bus ride. somehow, the 2 of us ended up being the last to arrive :P the bus ride was rather comfy with in-built entertainment system. kinda like taking a plane ride :D i finally got to watch 'She's On Duty', uri Gong Yoo oppa!

after switching to another mini-van at Times Square-KL, we finally arrived at our destination at close to 5pm. the original plan was to play paintball once we arrived but the road jam screwed things up and so we had to switch our 2 days itineary around.

after dumping our bags in the room, took the shuttle to the japanese tea garden. am glad we chose that rather than the rabbit farm...hey, there's only rabbits to see in the rabbit farm. how interesting can that be? :P

we fooled around in the japanese tea garden till around 6.30pm after which we headed back to the resort for dinner. dinner was a boring affair. not much food choices over there so we ended having a buffet dinner at the hotel.

after dinner & shower, we headed to the guys' room for a drinking session! we bot vodka and some other drinks. wat best way to finish up these drinks? play 7-up! say gay was the funniest. she kept going...."21...ahhhhhhh".... "27.....ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh" hahahahahahahahahahahahah! we finally finished all the drinks at close to 12am. 12am! bloody early lor, by my standards but we were damn tired so the bed was really very much welcome :P

the next day, we woke up at 6am+ so that we can have b'fast at 7am before heading for our paintball session at 8am...it was my 1st paintball session. was quite scared initially as i've heard the others say that it's HURTS if you get hit. but during the briefing session, i learnt that there's actually a 20-feet boundary between the 2 teams during the game, so phew! the game was really tiring but fun! i didn't get hit at all coz' i was hiding behind the bunkers, playing the shooter role :P the others can't believe i was not hurt at all...ok la, next time i'll try the 'catch the flag' role lor.... :P

banana prata

Ingredients: 1 roti prata (frozen pack), 1 banana, hershey's chocolate syrup

1. heat up the wok and pan-fry the roti prata till it's golden brown on both sides
2. cut the banana into slices and place it on top of the prata
3. pour hershey's chocolate syrup over it

Tada! kev's self-made banana prata! yummlicious! think next time i gonna try out with other fruits like kiwi, strawberries...and maybe even grated cheese hmmmmm

think i had too much durian stuff over the past 2 weeks...durian puffs, durian pancakes, durian mooncakes, durian ondeh ondeh followed by durian puffs again :S *proceeds to suffocate self*

attended XJ's 21st birthday party...darn hot day and her place is all the way in tampines...so darn far....

the dear girl saved us her super pink, dreamy bedroom coz' that's the only room with aircon and she knows Suz can't stand heat hahaha....so we juz cooped up in her room till it's time for makan :P instead of the usual catering, all the food were prepared by her aunts and it's PRO standard. i will love to be their niece too haha....

so what befits a girl with a pink, dreamy bedroom? a pinky pink cake! haha....looking at her, i will never imagine her room to be that pink but hey, she loves pink & blings, like moi! her room is inspiring me to paint mine pink too....see when i do get down to it then.....

After the ktv, few of us went for a 'high class' chinese dinner at Royal China@Raffles Hotel. Not too exp considering the venue and the food is really good!
