Harry Potter & Tiffy
No. Not Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. I ain't going to spend SGD$55 on one hardcover...shall patiently wait for the paperback to be released or better still, somebody to lend me the book :P
but what the heck! i got the 1st 6 books of the series at a deal! After dinner with SY last fri, we headed down to Borders at Wheelock Place and saw a long line snaking outside the store...apparently waiting for the book to be released (there were even reporters snapping away! dangie dangie!)...anyway, back to topic, there is a harry potter book sale! 3 for 2 special deal! So i got all 6 books at the price of SGD$78.65 - average SGD13.11 per book. Cheap cheap!
On the other hand, Tiffy had her 满月 celebration yesterday! She is juz so adorable! Think i'm gonna love her to bits!

Double T
1st T = Tiffany Ong Si Xuan
My new baby niece, born on the same day as a certain korean hunk. She's sooo adorable! I finally found time to go visit her over the wkend. Too bad, she was snoozing when I went over...oh well, there'll be chances to carry her in the future :D
2nd T = Transformers!
Caught this with my cuzzies yesterday. Great show! Transformers, as a cartoon, had never caught my fancy back when I was still a little kid. But the movie is a muz watch! Never for a moment did my attention strayed from the big screen. Definitely the blockbuster of the year. My review? 11/10 points. Wan more reviews? Read newspapers la....

romance ones to be exact. got these books recently, some 1st-hand some 2nd-hand....now i can spend the next few wks holed up in my room reading. great way to curb the shopping urge! hohoho!!!

gathering of old friends
was clearing my mailbox when i saw this picture...taken on 31 May 2007, not too long ago =) a long-awaited gathering with the OF girls, thanks to Suz. We had lunch at Waraku@The Central. Nice food, great company. The last time when all of us gathered was almost 3 years ago. On and off, a few of us had met up but the group was never complete. This time round, we are still short of 1 person - SP. Maybe the next time :D
At the last "complete" gathering 3 years ago...adel was missing though...think it's 2003 xmas eve...we all have certainly changed...in looks :P

Expensive BBQ
had a bbq at East Coast Island Resort last saturday.....attendees include me, Aud, CL, KF, Irean, Joseph & sslim. oh and one impromptu guest....joseph's "wife"

Humongous Singapore Flag flew "past" us....aiya, NDP practice la....that thing went by my hse every wkend for the past 2-3 wks.....

after a hot shower is....Ban Lat time! I won $9 :P
After BL, we continued with Mahjong. Had a continuation of my streak of good luck since this beginning of this year. Won $20. originally was losing at MJ coz' i keep feeding Joseph winning tiles and he was winning at a rate of 3 tais and above -_-''' but lady luck came back to me after a visit to the washroom...i got 4 animals + my own flower + i zi-mo that one...wahhhhhhh shiok leh. $6.40 + $6.40 + $6.40! wheet!!
The game continued all the way to 7am until Aud requested: "can we sleep for 1 hr after this game?"
4 sleeping beauties after a night of mj (albeit only for 2 of them)
We finally packed up and left at around 9am...went to Mac for b'fast (CL was aiming for that since the prev night)....I hit home at around 10am, and was 不省人事....
Total cost of the bbq per person: SGD$45.40....Super expensive bbq but oh well, i'm better off than the others coz' i have my winnings to balance out some...so cannot complain :P

it's all crap
got an sms from steff at around 3pm.....his LA concert is cancelled, 2 hrs before the concert is due to start.
i am speechless.
there's been lotsa stories floating around him recently....some even accused him of trying to pull off a scam in US....to those who said that, please use your brains. it's his dream to break into the US market. will he do something so stoopid? i'm starting to believe that the other rumor is true....that JYPE is trying to do him in coz' he refused to sign a new artiste contract with them....
Oh, and StarM is crap in the 1st place. so what if it's a co owned by JDG? they sucks at preparations. none of his concerts went smoothly. ticketing problems, venue problems, date problems - all these are things that any professional co will take care of, way way before.
Hope that this US thing will pass and he'll be able to hit back at his critics and non-believers with his new movie and new album (whenever that might be). He's a born stage performer. I'll wait for the day when I'll get to see him on stage again. But whenever that might be, I won't be going around the globe anymore. Juz cross my fingers that he'll hit SG or somewhere near :P
